Description
The bees that produce Jankiban Honey make their hives on high branches of trees. The hives in which they stay had nearly seventy to eighty thousand bees. The collection of this exotic honey is done by smoking betel leaves and other substances so that the bees come out of the hive. The collectors make betel leaf torches to ease the process.
The hive is not broken entirely as it needs to regrow to enable the bees to produce more honey. The collector obtains both honey and wax from these hives. The honey extracted is entirely authentic as it is neither processed nor pasteurized. If you choose this honey, you will get a jar of pure honey directly from the hive bereft of external flavors and sweetness
